VRU 3000 Subsea - replaces DMS-RP25 and DMS-RP30

The DMS-RP25 and DMS-RP30 are depth-rated roll and pitch sensors with no heave output, used for dynamic positioning and roll/pitch monitoring. The VRU 3000 Subsea is the direct roll-and-pitch replacement.

Much higher roll and pitch accuracy than either DMS-RP model.

MRU 3000 Marine - replaces DMS-525 and DMS-550

The DMS-525 and DMS-550 are surface motion sensors with Ethernet output, used for survey and motion compensation above the waterline.

The MRU 3000 Marine is the direct surface equivalent.

Holds 0.05° roll and pitch across the full dynamic range, not only within ±30°.

VRU 3000 Marine replaces DMS-525RP, DMS-535RP and DMS-550RP

The DMS-525RP, DMS-535RP, and DMS-550RP are surface roll and pitch sensors with no heave output.

The VRU 3000 Marine replaces the full surface RP range.

Retrofit of your MRU

Many vessels have MRUs installed that need frequent recalibration and repair or are end-of-life since support and recalibration services are no longer available. Our MRUs use the latest generation of high-end MEMS sensors for extreme stability, making them ideal for retrofit installations with no need for future recalibration.

Typical retrofit applications are AHC, dynamic positioning and helideck motion monitoring.

You can replace your existing MRU yourself or use one our retrofit partners that can do the installation for you and support you with questions about your DP systems.
