The ACC MARINE is a robust and waterproof Ultra-low-noise Accelerometer designed specifically for marine applications with flexible communication options.

The ACC MARINE is a robust and waterproof Ultra-low-noise Accelerometer designed specifically for marine applications with flexible communication options.

Featuring state-of-the-art MEMS technology 3-axis accelerometers, the ACC is high performance, ultra-low noise, and affordable. Exceptional low noise density, velocity
random walk (VRW) and bias instability make this accelerometer ideal for demanding vibration monitoring applications.
The ACC Marine can be mounted in a dry area or on a floating substructure in up to 50 m water depth (ACC Marine SW), offering a cost-effective solution for demanding vibration monitoring applications.
Developed for monitoring floating offshore wind platforms, offshore structures, and subsea templates, or any installation with demanding vibration monitoring
requirements. The accelerometer supports real-time integrity monitoring, serves as input to digital twin models, and enables fatigue life analysis.

Exceptional low noise density, velocity random walk (VRW) and bias instability.

Ethernet, serial ports and free software upgrades. Wide range of industry standard protocols. Custom NMEA and Binary protocol generator included in configuration software.

Robust and compact waterproof aluminum housing. The MRU Marine SW can even be used outdoors in the splash zone or in up to 50 m water depth.

All Norwegian Subsea Motion Reference Units (MRUs) can be easily configured using the MRU Configurator (free of charge).
Simply define the communication ports and protocols as well as the MRU mounting orientation and location, and you are ready to go.
The MRU Configurator is also a great tool to monitor the outputs in real-time, plot the variables, check the on-board diagnostics and update the MRU firmware.

Norwegian Subsea is bringing its acclaimed Motion Reference Unit (MRU) technology to sonar-based applications with the introduction of an updated MRU lineup featuring full aiding capabilities at Ocean Business 2025 this week.

Helideck Motion Monitoring & Weather Data Systems (HMS) provide real-time motion and environmental data essential for flight planning and for pilots to remain in safe control during take off and landing from moving helidecks. The HMS depends on Motion Reference Units (MRU) installed directly on to the support structure that continuously measure the helideck’s movement. Leading HMS manufacturer ShoreConnection chooses MRUs built by Norwegian Subsea.

Norwegian Subsea’s Motion Reference Units (MRUs) are now available integrated with WASSP’s multibeam sonar systems, offering enhanced motion data accuracy and performance for offshore applications.
