Remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) need reliable motion sensors as part of their navigation system or for motion compensation of other pay load sensors.
The NORSUB Subsea MRU’s small size and footprint, and the 6000 m depth rating, makes it ideal for use on ROVs, and for aftermarket installation on under water vehicles and platforms. The Subsea MRU can also be delivered with a high-end magnetometer to measure the vehicle’s heading.
Interfacing and cabling are easy with flexible communication options over ethernet or serial ports and 8 pins Subconn connector.
