Which product model series should I choose?
This depends on your application, requirements and budget. Here are some general guidelines.
Roll and pitch dynamic accuracy of 0.05° Heave accuracy: 5 cm / 5 %
The 6000 series provides high performance 0.02° roll and pitch accuracy
The 9000 series achieves exceptional precision with 0.01° roll and pitch accuracy
3000 series
The 3000 series, with 0.05° accuracy in Roll & Pitch, is ideal for
- Most monitoring applications where the main purpose is to collect motion data for analysis or decision making, such as helideck monitoring systems.
- Some instrument compensation applications such as wave radars and wind lidar buoys.
- Active heave control (AHC) for winches on smaller vessels with short lever arms to the remote monitoring points
