Who we are
Meet our talented and dedicated team at Norwegian Subsea.
Fredrik holds a PhD in Marine Cybernetics with focus on subsea navigation and ROV motion control systems. He previously held engineering positions at Aker and has broad experience from marine and subsea operations. Fredrik joined Norwegian Subsea in 2014.
Chris has a MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering. He has a long commercial background from technology companies within the oil and gas, marine and subsea sector. Working with industrialization and commercialization of new technology. Chris joined Norwegian Subsea in 2021.
Glenn has a MSc in Engineering for Embedded Systems from ISEP, France. He has more than 10 years of experience with FPGA and embedded software development including software for inertial measurement units. Glenn joined Norwegian Subsea in 2022.
Øystein holds a PhD in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, Trondheim. He is responsible for research and development activities related to sensor fusion and signal processing algorithms applicable to motion sensors and aided inertial navigation systems. Øystein joined Norwegian Subsea in 2024.
Tarald Wraa is our project technician with a background as a skilled watchmaker passionate about precision mechanics. He is responsible for MRU production and calibration. Tarald joined Norwegian Subsea in 2024.
Tonja holds a Master's degree in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, Trondheim. She is an accomplished product developer with expertise in embedded software and cybernetics, proficient in multiple programming languages. Tonja joined Norwegian Subsea in 2024.
Mauro holds a PhD in Marine Cybernetics. His doctoral research focused on the development of control systems for underwater vehicles. Mauro also holds an MSc degree in Industrial Automation Engineering from Universita Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM). Mauro joined Norwegian Subsea in 2016.
Håkon comes from a background at DNV GL where he worked with offshore and shipping consultancy as well as newbuilding supervision and quality assurance. Håkon joined Norwegian Subsea in 2014.
