Testing at Motion Lab
Norwegian Subsea is currently conducting several rounds of testing and simulations at Motion Lab in Grimstad, Norway. The laboratory offers a wide range of test platforms for motion sensors, heave-compensated systems, gyrocompasses and more. Tests are carried out as part of ongoing product development activities at Norwegian Subsea.
Norwegian Subsea welcomes Vincenzo Calabro as Senior R&D Manager
Vincenzo holds a PhD in Automation, Robotics & Bio-Engineering from the University of Pisa. He previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime. Vincenzo brings with him much expertise in systems and control engineering, dynamic positioning and inertial navigation systems.
Norwegian Subsea welcomes Mauro Candeloro as Senior Technical Manager
Norwegian Subsea welcomes Mauro Candeloro as the company’s new Senior Technical Manager. Mauro is a PhD Candidate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His doctoral research focuses on the development of control systems for underwater vehicles. Mauro also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Automation Engineering from Universita Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM).
New Office Facilities
We are moving to new and larger offices. Beginning September 15, Norwegian Subsea’s head office will be located in the Skøyen area of Oslo. Our new address is Hoffsveien 21, 0275 Oslo. The new facilities allow us to better serve our growing customer base from central Oslo. The premises include new lab facilities and modern and spacious meeting and office facilities.
Norwegian Subsea to speak at Ocean Week 2016
Norwegian Subsea has been invited to speak at Ocean Week 2016 at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) on May 11. Ocean Week is the annual Norwegian ocean conference where industry, researchers and students in the marine and maritime sector meet to share the latest advancements in technology and science.
