Wave radar
Accurate heave measurements are needed to compensate wave radar measurements when installed on ships or other floating vessels. The NORSUB Marine MRU can be installed right next to the wave radar for best performance, or the NORSUB OEM MRU (available on request) can be built into the wave radar.
The NORSUB MRU is ideal for wave radar applications due to its very accurate heave measurements also in irregular waves, which is what vessels experience at sea.
All motion data is available from the custom protocol if other motion data than heave is needed to compensate the wave radar. Ethernet and serial communication (RS-232 and RS-485) are available on all MRUs.
